Care

As long as you give your cutting board or serving tray the care it deserves, it will maintain its high quality and long durability.


A few things to consider are the following:

  • Never wash the board in the dishwasher!
  • Wash the board by hand with warm water and a small amount of dish soap.
  • Avoid letting the board get wet.
  • It is best to wash both sides so that the entire board is exposed to moisture.
  • Let it dry so that both sides get air, then it will dry evenly.
  • Please store your board so that both sides can breathe, for example by placing it on its edge.
  • Avoid exposing it to large temperature differences, such as placing it too close to boiling pots or other hot surfaces.


When you feel the board starting to dry out, it will benefit from being oiled or waxed. You can use mineral oil and/or wood wax. Wipe off excess oil or wax with a dry cloth and let it dry in the same way as when you washed it.
